Nat Sci 1 - Ll2 Assignment on waves

Hi!

When I printed out the Assignment on Light waves this morning, I didn't examine if it were clear enough. And I have already distributed all the copies to all of you before I could realize that it was NOT really good (blurred, in other words). Sorry for that, guys.

Hence, I am uploading the screen shot of the original copy.

Note:
*Hint for question 3: consider the speed of laser light to be a constant (300,000,000 m/s) and that the distance between the moon and the Earth is 384,403,000 m.

*In question no. 4, c stands for the speed of light, f for frequency, and the symbol next to letter "f" in the equation is the greek letter lambda, notation for wavelength.

*In question no. 5, nm is a shorthand notation for nanometer.

Please be informed that we will not meet on December 15, 2012 (Saturday) because of the MSU-Main's Commencement exercise. All instructors are required to attend the important event.

We will resume on January 12, 2012.

I have already took note of your name. Please give me some time to find your record. As we were expecting the typhoon Pablo's arrival last week, I hastily put all my papers and records to a spot where it wouldn't get wet. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to arrange it in good order.

Once I find it, I will post right away what you lack according to that record.

Good day everyone!

I hope everyone is okey. Starting at the early hours yesterday, we've experienced continuous rain accompanied by strong wind. Electricity went out, trees were falling here and there, the roads were filled with debris. We were truly hoping that we might not experience the same intense tragedy we've experienced last year (brought by Sendong).

Last year, it was really complete misery. In my case, we woke up at early dawn in our room to a 1 foot deep water. And when we went outside, most people were bereaving over the deaths of their relatives. That was really unforgettable.

And All Thanks to God, as I look at it, there's not much damage around here (at least here in the place where we live) this time.

Our sincere condolence to those kababayan who lost their relatives in this Pablo incident.

May the Almighty give us all strength to move forward.

Please be informed that we will not meet on Dec 5 (Wednesday).

Phys 11.1 students, please pass your Lab Act no. 1 to ma'am Edna at room 227.

Nat Sci 1 students, we'll resume on Dec 8. And I would like also to inform you in advance that our Prelim Exam will be on Dec 19 (Wed).

To all my new students this sem

Hi, everyone!
I would just like to greet everyone who's enrolled in my subjects:
Happy amun jadeed (Islamic new year)
and Happy new semester (hehe)!


I will use this blog to communicate with you since I will not always be in the MSU main campus for most of the time. This semester I will only be in the campus for two days in a week, Wednesday and Saturday only.
So for example, if there were announcements that I failed to inform you during our class hours, I'll just post them here instead.

And if you need to clarify, say something important, or anything you wish to inform me and I'm not around, please just write it as a comment in any of the posts here. I will definitely be able to read it.

Hope we'll get along with one another very well as we try to educate ourselves.
