"To do" list on Sept 2, 2013

On September 2, 2013, which is supposedly the "rest day," I am going to meet my three classes.

In the morning starting 9AM, in my Nat Sci 1 - Rr (Regular Sched: WS 4-5:30pm) there will be reporting. Topics in those reports will be Sources of Energy and Global Warming.

By 1pm will give the second chapter exam to Phys 31 - Bb (Regular Sched: MH 7-8:30am). Ends @ 4pm Good luck guys!

And lastly @ 4pm, I am going to meet Nat Sci 1 - Hh1.

Sorry guys if this day won't be a "rest day" for us. But just look at the positive side of this. We can have our final exams ahead of the schedule alloted by the university and have our sem break earlier. hehe
See ya!

Phys 31 Students Did Not Show Up

I came to the college early this morning only to find out that about only 4 students appeared! I did not announce for any suspension of my class, but maybe most of them are just too excited to watch today's shows in the campus. (haha!) Well, I guess they enjoy this day as it's also part of their college life.

To Phys 31, please be reminded that our second chapter exam will be on September 2, '13 @ 1:00-4:00.

Classes on Sept 2, '13

Good Day!
The chairman of Physics Dept advised me not to give examinations during the University Intramural Games for the Office of the Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs forbids that. So, I have decided to move the Phys 31's second chapter exam to Sept. 2, 2013 (1pm-4pm).

And on that same day, I will also meet my Nat Sci 1-Hh class. Second group will report on Global Warming. Class will start @ 4pm.

August 9 decleared a holiday

(UPDATE) The whole nation joins Muslims from all over the world in celebrating the end of the holy month of Ramadhan as Malacanang declared August 9, 2013 a regular holiday.

Proclamation No. 629 series of 2013, signed by President Benigno Aquino III Thursday, named Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan) “a regular holiday throughout the country.”

“Eid’l Fitr is celebrated by the Muslim World for three days after the end of the month of fasting,” the document, posted on the Official Gazette, said.

August 9 has been declared a holiday in the predominantly Catholic Philippines to “promote cultural understanding and integration,” the Palace said.

Aside from Eid’l Fitr, there are two other holidays in August this year under Proclamation No. 459 released Sept. 1, 2012.

Ninoy Aquino Day, August 21 (Wednesday), is a special (non-working) holiday. August 26, the last Monday of August, is meanwhile National Heroes Day, a regular holiday.

Advance Happy Eidl Fitr, guys!
