Nat Sci 1 Last Assinment. The Last One!

Perform a simple demonstration highlighting any of the physics concepts we have discussed in class.
In your demonstration:
a. First, introduce yourself and state the title of your demonstration.
b. Then, show the materials needed and also declare the physics behind the demonstration.
c. Perform it and then explain it, especially use the physics concept. You can either speak in English, Filipino or “tag-lish.” To be authentic enough, you should be seen in the video while explaining!
d. Save your demonstration as a 3 to 6-min video in AVI or WMV format. Pass it to your groupmate who was assigned to collect all videos in your group.
I know that not all of us have Digital Camera or Computer. So, please help one another. Work as a team to enjoy this task and build friendship. J

CAUTION: No two demonstrations should be the same from the same group. So, you should talk to your group mates to avoid this.

NOTE: Reporters with good performance are exempted to do this.

Nat Sci 1 Assignment (Science week)

Due date (for Nat Sci 1 - Bb3): February 20, 2014
Due date (for Nat Sci 1 - Mm1 and Qq1): February 22, 2014

1. Visit the physics exhibit which will be held on Feb 17 to 19, 2014. And write a narrative. In it, mention at least five (5) things (be it electric device or simple physics trick) which will be shown and explained to you there. Choose those that will catch your attention the most.  Explain the physics concept behind each, for example, if it’s a device, explain how it works. You can include a drawing for each in order to make your points clearer. You may also write comments on how is condition of physics exhibit. Is it good enough? And/or include suggestions to make the physics exhibit more encouraging. Write this on short, white bond paper (1 or 2 pages. Encoded or handwritten). Written on yellow papers shall not be accepted.

PS I want you to enjoy the physics exhibit. It would be better if you go together with your classmates or friends. J  And I suggest that you visit on February 17 or 18 because probably by February 19 they will just be clearing things up and no more exhibit (that's what I usually observed on the 3rd day of the exhibit in the previous years).

Have fun!
