THE VERY FIRST TIME I READ COMMENTS FROM STUDENTS

Last Monday, I had to meet personally the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA), Dr. Zenaida Ababa. . . And so I went to her office right after taking my lunch, hoping that I would have the chance to talk to her and be her first guest after their lunch break. I was already glad that I’d arrived at her office just few minutes after 1 o’clock,.,. only to find out that she was already entertaining someone and there were still others sitting outside waiting for their turn. I had to fall in line, and I had to wait up to about 3 hours before I could finally speak to her personally! While I was waiting out there, I saw the person in charge of our TER. This person’s main job is to collect the instructor evaluations. So I went to her and asked her about my TER. I especially requested to see the comments of my students. Honestly, in my five years of being instructor in the university, this was my very first time to look at the comments. So, I felt a bit of a thrill right at that moment. And luckily, I got some screenshots of them since I couldn’t get a duplicate copy of it. Here they are.

I think the section is CD. The schedule is 8:30 to 11:30 every monday.
This is from Phys 11.1 - morning class
I guess really have to sleep in MSU the night
before monday morning so that I'll never
be late. hehe Because sometimes, I had to
stay in Iligan up to Sunday night to do
some homeworks. My bad.

When I was looking at these papers, I wasnt pretty sure when exactly
was this evaluation.I just requested ma'am (the person in charge)
to show me some of my evaluations - I meant
whatever she has kept in her table
at that time. But since I have Nat Sci,
I guess this was a year ago,
for it's been 3 conseq sems that I didn't handle nat sci 1.

Some comments are flattering (made me blushed the first time I saw it). As for the negative ones, I really accept it as a guideline to improve myself. So whoever (among my students) wrote these, I really would like to thank you. As for the positive and flattering comments, thank you, it inspired me a lot. And for the ones who wrote the negative ones, I really thank you. Surely, this is among the creative criticism and will surely help me to be a better instructor. I really appreciate it all. Thank you.
